We’re organizing the workers who entertain Las Vegas

The dancers of Chippendales are organizing with Actors’ Equity. We’re helping to educate the dancers on the benefits of working as an organized unit as well as offering support and encouragement in the face of an aggressively anti-union management team.

Stagehands working for Encore, an international production company with contracts all over Las Vegas, are looking to join IATSE Local 720. We’ve launched an informational campaign to inform workers of the benefits of organizing while encouraging union stagehands to welcome them into their ranks with a show of solidarity.

The union musicians of AFM Local 369 are in a contract dispute with the management of Nevada Ballet Theater. NBT backed out of negotiations just before performances of The Nutcracker were set to begin and now they refuse to bargain in good faith. We are working with the musicians and the dancers to build community support and a call for the return of the musicians and a fair contract.
